The cost of dental implants in the UK can vary significantly depending on the exact nature of the treatment required. Additional costs to a dental implant can include:

CT scans – these can be used to examine the quantity and quality of the bone in which the implant will be placed.

Bone augmentation – if there is not enough bone then various bone augmentation procedures may be required prior to placing the dental implant.

The cost per tooth for dental implants will also vary on the number of teeth you have replaced in a row:​

• replacing a single tooth requires a single implant
• replacing 2 teeth can be done on a single implant
• replacing 3 or 4 teeth would usually require 2 implants
• replacing 5 or more teeth would usually require upwards of 3 implants
